About Boo
Not available for interstate adoption apart from the ACT.
Must go to a home with another friendly dog that is up for playing and snuggles.
Meet Boo the pocket rocket!
An extremely good-looking pup with an energetic, playful nature and a loving personality, Boo is a young Jack Russell /Chihuahua cross in need of a caring forever home.
She loves going on long walks, playing with soft and Kong toys /mats. She is timid to new people and dogs at the beginning but once she gains confidence is happy to play with both dogs and people.
Being a youngster, she does require some on-going toilet training especially when wet and raining, your home will be a new environment of course for Boo, so you will need to set her up to succeed, advice can be given if needed.
She responds to her name, ‘come’ and ‘sit’ and would thrive with further training.
Boo is very intelligent, she is still in his puppy stage, so her new family need to be ready for everything that comes with this. Her new family must set her up to succeed by providing daily exercise, play time with another doggy companion and mental stimulation and provide ongoing training using only reward based and force-free training techniques.
As Boo is highly intelligent and eager to please we believe she would be suited to agility or nose works training or the like.
Due to her highly active nature she will require an active owner that can get her out for long walks and adventures daily.
Boo does have a chilled side as well and is always ready for a cuddle and snuggle. She likes wearing her winter fleece and is crate trained, where she sleeps of a night in her carer's bedroom and likes to rest their during the day at times with the crate door open
Like all our dogs, she must have access inside at all times, be permitted on the couch for snuggle time and it is preferred that she is able to sleep in the bedroom if possible
She has quickly formed a bond with her foster uncle for energetic play and rest time. They now do prefer to sleep together during the night.
If you would like to meet gorgeous Boo please send us some information about yourself, your home including your other dog and other pets (if any), your family members, your daily activity level, Boo's potential alone time, home access, contingency plans for when you're away, and your ability to cover vet expenses. Plus, any extra information that could make Boo's life more enriching and fun.
