About Digby
Digby is a 6-month-old black and tan kelpie male.
Digby is an extremely sweet dog who would love to spend all his time by your side. He’s super smart and has already picked up responding to his name, toilet training, sit, drop & touch in his short time in care. He’s got a great off switch and will happily chill out most of the day and sleep quietly in his crate overnight. He’s quickly learning not to jump up onto the bed or couch without invitation but he would absolutely love snuggling up with you if you’ll let him!!
Digby is still a young puppy so will need further training in his forever home. He is still learning how to walk nicely on the lead but is picking it up super fast just like all his other training.
Digby would suit a home with another fun loving & playful dog. He’s gotten along famously with his foster family's female kelpie and has also befriended the next door neighbour’s sausage dog. He socialises well and seems to love all other dogs and people he meets so far. He would do okay in an only dog home if his humans were home more often than not. Digby has not been tested with cats or children, he will need a secure fenced backyard.
Digby will be a wonderful addition to your family, if he sounds like the boy for you, please send in an application today!
Digby is located in VIC.
Adoption details
To apply to adopt a dog from Dogs4Jobs, you must firstly complete our adoptions application form in full at http://dogs4jobs.com.au/adoption-form/.
You can also write out your answers and email them to dogs@dogs4jobs.com.au
*Please note, due to the high volume of applications received, we will not respond to Petrescue chat messages, or enquiries to adopt a dog. You must complete our adoptions form to be considered for the dog or pup, and we will respond to this form via our email.
We will then request to complete a yard check, or for you to send in photos of your yard showing the fencing, space, shelter and any hazards etc, to confirm it is safe and secure, as well as adequate space for a working breed dog.
Following this, we will then put you in touch with the dog/s foster carer/s that you are interested in, to chat further over the phone, about whether the dog is a good fit for your family, and vice versa. We are searching for the perfect match for each dog and their needs. We offer interstate adoption on all of our dogs.
