Clementine is a sweet girl who will be a fantastic addition to your family.

While it appears that she didn’t have much human interaction while she was younger, she is now growing in confidence every day.

She can still be quite shy/timid in new situations, but she loves her human companions and is learning that the world isn't such a scary place 🌸

Clementine started off in foster care with a couple who work from home, and she loved sleeping next to them while they typed away or were in a meeting. Clementine's foster carer adored her sweet disposition and funny personality, especially her backyard zoomies. She was also respectful of visitors in the home and would give them a gentle sniff hello and tail wag, but was also happy to give them space if they need it.

Clementine is now in foster care with a family that has 2 primary aged school children and 3 other dogs on a hobby farm; and they all get on beautifully- playing and chasing each other around.
Clementine has been around cattle, sheep and chickens and isn’t fussed by them; and she hasn’t shown any herding instincts either (she prefers to watch rather than join in).

Food motivated and smart, Clementine has already learnt to sit and wait for her food, and additional basic obedience at minimum will help this smart girl thrive.

She is toilet trained, and sleeps soundly in her bed through the night. She's still learning that going for a walk can be fun, as she wasnt sure what a leash was when she first came into foster care. For now, she's very happy calmy walking around her foster carers backyard on leash to build her confidence. She doesn't pull on lead. Her energy needs are quite low, but she loves playing with her toys.

Clementine could thrive in either the company of a canine companion or as your one and only. All she asks is that you're patient with her as she learns to trust you, and that you show her the love, care and dedication that she deserves.
