About Lucy - Located in Surrey Hills
Hello, lovely future family! I’m Lucy, and I’m here to find my forever home where I can shower you with affection and warmth.
I’m a gentle soul with a heart full of love. Though I’m a bit shy at first, once I get to know you, I blossom into the most affectionate little kitty you could ever wish for. My favorite place in the whole wide world is right in your lap, where I can snuggle up and purr contentedly. Just like Matilda loves her books, I love my quiet cuddle time. 📚💖
I may be a bit shy initially, but with a little patience and kindness, you’ll see just how sweet and loving I can be. I dream of a cozy home where I can curl up on your lap, feeling safe and cherished. I promise, the warmth and love I’ll bring to your life will be as magical as Matilda’s adventures. 🌟🐾
So, if you’re looking for a tender-hearted, affectionate lap cat who will be your constant companion, look no further. I’m Lucy, and I can’t wait to be your little ray of sunshine, filling your days with love and purrs.
With all my love,
Lucy (your future lap-loving sweetheart) 🌸🐱

WORLDWIDE CAT VACCINE SHORTAGE
There is currently a worldwide shortage of cat vaccines and supplies are unlikely to be replenished until early 2024. This is due to complicated supply problems post-COVID. Our vets have limited, and in some cases no supplies available, but are prioritising kittens and previously unvaccinated Cats wherever possible.
Kittens are at the highest risk as their level of protection is very low after the initial protection provided by the mother’s antibodies. While protection will wane a little over time, a delay up to three months is unlikely to result in a significant reduction in levels of protection. It is anticipated that clinics should have regular supplies early in the new year to bring your cat back up to date.
First Vaccination completed
We will try to provide at least 1 vaccination, depending on our supplies of vaccines available, however boosters may become overdue. In this case it is your responsibility to contact your vet as soon as supplies become available. We will not be re-imbursing any of this costs.
We require all cats and kittens to be indoors only and not allowed outside. This is especially important now as there is a risk of coming into contact with unknown cats who may not be vaccinated.
No Vaccination completed
Where we are unable to provide any vaccination during their time in care with us, please contact us on 0459779888 or via email to samantha@neko.org.au, and we will arrange for one vaccination to be done at one of our partnering clinics as soon as supplies are available. Boosters after this will be your responsibility.
Please note that should you choose to utilise your own clinic, we will not be re-imbursing any costs. This is your responsibility.
