About Miles - Located in Doreen
G'day mates! I'm Miles, the cheeky little kitten with a zest for fun and a heart full of love!
Oh crikey, where do I start? I'm a bundle of energy and cheekiness, just like a little whirlwind of fur and fun. There isn’t a toy I don’t adore! My room is packed with them, but my sister and I have a hilarious obsession with the dustpan and broom. We think we’re being super helpful when you’re trying to clean, but really, we’re just having a blast! 😸✨
I'm not just about the playtime, though. I’ve got a sweet and affectionate side that’ll melt your heart. I love cuddles and pats from my human, and I’m a bit of a shadow—always following you around. Sometimes, I’ll surprise you by throwing myself onto your back and climbing up to your shoulder for a hug. Yep, I’m a climber! From the moment I could walk, I’ve been scaling everything. Tall scratching posts or cat trees? I conquer them all without a second thought. 🐾🏔️
And let’s talk toys. I’m a little genius when it comes to figuring out new ones and solving puzzles. My sister and I have so much fun playing together, though I must admit, I sometimes push her out of the way to grab my favorite toy. And when it comes to food treats, I’m first in line, shoving everyone aside. But hey, lucky for me, I’m cute as a button, and my antics are super endearing! 🍬😸
So, if you’re looking for a cheeky, playful, and affectionate little mate who’ll keep you entertained and shower you with love, look no further. I’m Miles, and I can’t wait to be part of your family! Let’s make every day a fun adventure together! 🎉💙
Love,
Miles (your future playful partner in crime)

WORLDWIDE CAT VACCINE SHORTAGE
There is currently a worldwide shortage of cat vaccines and supplies are unlikely to be replenished until early 2024. This is due to complicated supply problems post-COVID. Our vets have limited, and in some cases no supplies available, but are prioritising kittens and previously unvaccinated Cats wherever possible.
Kittens are at the highest risk as their level of protection is very low after the initial protection provided by the mother’s antibodies. While protection will wane a little over time, a delay up to three months is unlikely to result in a significant reduction in levels of protection. It is anticipated that clinics should have regular supplies early in the new year to bring your cat back up to date.
First Vaccination completed
We will try to provide at least 1 vaccination, depending on our supplies of vaccines available, however boosters may become overdue. In this case it is your responsibility to contact your vet as soon as supplies become available. We will not be re-imbursing any of this costs.
We require all cats and kittens to be indoors only and not allowed outside. This is especially important now as there is a risk of coming into contact with unknown cats who may not be vaccinated.
No Vaccination completed
Where we are unable to provide any vaccination during their time in care with us, please contact us on 0459779888 or via email to samantha@neko.org.au, and we will arrange for one vaccination to be done at one of our partnering clinics as soon as supplies are available. Boosters after this will be your responsibility.
Please note that should you choose to utilise your own clinic, we will not be re-imbursing any costs. This is your responsibility.
