Yep, I really am this cute!
My name is Maple but I could easily be called a fluff ball!
I am a 8-week-old Spoodle (that is an English Cocker Spaniel and a Toy Poodle) – My sister and brother and I were born in care with the rescue as my mum came into rescue and she had a small surprise in her tummy – US!!!
The rescue is ensuring that this is her last litter of pups – they said something about they do a last litter program, and she will never have to be pregnant again!
My mum is a Spoodle - we are not sure what my dad is but my mum hung around with other small breeds.
I currently weigh 1.4kgs
So anyways my mum cooked us in her belly and when she said we were pure perfection we were born! Our names are Casper, Maple and Ziggy
The rescue has taken such good care of me, Maple, Casper and Ziggy and of course our mum – my foster mum said we were a big surprise as our mum wasn't showing any signs of pregnancy so when she realised it was all hands-on deck!!
I have one brother and one sister and our foster mum says each of us have our quirks and personalities – I can be a little shy when meeting new people or in new situations but if you give me a few minutes to get my bearings and get comfortable – look out world – when I’m ready for an adventure I am the most fun to be around.
I love to have a cuddle with my human and would very happily spend hours being cuddled.
My siblings and I play some times gently, sometimes rough and either my mum or my foster mum has to step in and remind us we are babies and to stop trying to audition for WWE.
The rescue has a rule of no siblings going together (littermate syndrome) I am definitely wanting a home where there is another dog to snuggle and play with. Ps they are also really good helping my socialization and I can follow them to get the ropes on what a ‘big dog’ does.
I have been learning to sit when I have my dinner and my foster mum says I’m getting there slowly... but you know I have siblings and something could be yummier in their bowl.
I currently live with all size dogs and ages (and temperaments) my foster mum says that I am definitely dog socialized, oh yeah and kid socialized too.
I am 90% toilet trained but I am still only 8 weeks old so you know, accidents may happen.
Currently my foster mum works from home a few days a week and the rest we spend our day having access inside and out playing to our hearts are content while she works – we do love being able to curl up in her office and have a snooze.
And when she's gone we play and play and play and then crash to sleep! We are not fans of being crated and will definitely express to you that we are unhappy, something about can't contain the uncontainable............. we are good honest - we just like to be with the big furkids are and play!
Our foster mum was very proud that we learnt how to use the back door so quickly – hell yeah it meant at our bedtime we could run outside and keep playing with the other dogs – she just shakes her head now and says okay when you’re tired you will crash and I’ll come sort you out (sometimes we sleep with the bigger dogs for a bit)
I am not cat tested but I’m also really young so this is something that should be easily taught to me (don’t chase)
I love to have a play outside in the grass (wet as well) and then come in and have a good cuddle
My foster mum does these baths on me she reckons that we all get so dirty so quickly – but we just give her smooches and tell her cause we are having fun!
I am about to have my first groom at the groomers (just a tidy up really) but something the rescue says is going to be a thing forever with me with my coat so on going grooming is definitely in my future. She said seriously I will need to be groomed every 6 – 8 weeks so it’s an ongoing expense you will need to be prepared for if you chose me.

Once an adoption enquiry is completed our admin team will assess the application and if successful we will arrange for a meet and greet to be completed. We may also request photos of your yard for consideration of your application. Please note that we will do no more than 3 meet and greets per dog.
Approved applicants will be contacted to arrange a time for a meet & greet via email. You must bring your current dog along to the meeting if you are meeting another dog/puppy, this is to ensure they get along before commencing adoption - proof of your dogs up-to-date vaccination is required before any meet and greet is arranged.
Our adoption fee must be cleared in our bank account before any animal is available for pick up. Please note we bank with ANZ - any other bank may take 48 hours to process the monies.
Paw Prints Canine Rescue has a 10 day trial period – this basically means that if for any reason the adoption does not work out and the dog needs to be returned to us, the adoption fee minus an admin fee (minimum is $250) will be returned to the adoptees via bank transfer within 7 working days.
Please note that if an interstate adoption needs to be returned or regional adoption all transport cost with be paid by the adopter.
Please also note while this can be a very exciting time for everyone, it can also be an overwhelming time for dogs and we ask that you do try and allow your new family member to settle in their new home and adjust
INTERSTATE ADOPTIONS **
Any transport costs are to be paid by the adopting family, however we can assist you in helping with transport to airports etc.
** Please note some of our dogs are not available for interstate adoption
AFTER THE TRIAL PERIOD
After the 10 day trial period is completed Paw Prints Canine will send out all relevant paperwork for your new furbaby via email including the transfer of microchip form.
