About Cassie
I am trying a new home to see if i like it. Cassie is a very gentle little dog who is in need of a warm lap, a comfy bed and someone to love her. She has been rescued from a back yard breeder and now that her breeding days are over she deserves the best that life has to offer. Cassie is learning to delight in many new pastimes like snoozing on her bed, lying in the sun and chasing lizards. But at this point in her life, she just wants to be near her humans and showered with love and affection as it would seem that cuddles have been a rarity in the past. Cassie is not an overly active dog but she does enjoy a romp around the yard. Although she hasn't formed a firm friendship with her doggiy friends in foster care she does get along well with them. Cassie has no problem with cats and is house trained. She enjoys affection from everyone and falling asleep on her foster dad's lap while watching tv is not uncommon! cassie is not fussy with food and rarely barks. She is doing well when walking on lead but will need a little more time to get her confidence up. Cassie snuggles up in her bed on the floor next to her carer and sleeps through the night. She would suit a range of 'poodle savvy' homes and retired or people who work from home would be ideal as she would not do well on her own for long periods. Or perhaps a family with older children as she is very small and younger children would be too much for her. Another small dog for company would be nice too. Cassie is a house dog and her non-shedding coat requires regular grooming and clipping. Cassie comes desexed, microchipped, vaccinated, wormed, on heartworm prevention and with nsw local council lifetime registration for $400 and is not available for adoption outside nsw. She has also had a recent dental (teeth cleaned under anaesthetic). If you would like more information on cassie or to arrange to meet her, please phone 0466 690916 (between 8am and 7pm only) or email using adoption enquiry as your subject heading.
