About Ayesha
Ayesha has the most beautiful light eyes and a gentle nature. She is currently in foster care, soaking up the good life with one of our handlers. Ayesha is a true snuggle bug whose favourite thing right now is cuddling by the fire at night. While she can be a bit shy with new things, sudden movements, and loud sounds, she will thrive in a gentle family with pet-savvy children if there are any in the home.
Once Ayesha settles, she comes out of her shell, showing a perfect mix of contentment sitting by you or cuddling, as well as playing with her toys, such as balls or anything that squeaks. She plays perfectly with her foster pup friends and may be able to live with other dogs if introduced appropriately.
Like most rescues and puppies, Ayesha can become upset when left alone for long periods of time. Her carer is working on gradually acclimating her to being alone; so far, Ayesha may cry for a few minutes but eventually settles. She is very smart and can sit, shake, and drop. Ayesha sits and waits patiently at mealtime and loves going for walks, where she is well-mannered on a lead. She is pretty well toilet trained and her cheeky puppy side is starting to shine, as she occasionally steals the odd shoe.
Ayesha will need ongoing puppy training and socialising to help her become the best companion she can be. Her foster carer quotes, "She's just been an absolute delight to have around." If you are looking for a loving, gentle, and playful puppy, Ayesha could be the perfect addition to your family.
Note: This dog is currently being cared for in a home and when adopted, it will free up a spot to help another dog.
