About Plum
Introducing Plum, a delightful 2-year-old female Cocker Spaniel with a heart as sweet as her name. Her playful spirit and friendly disposition will make you fall in love immediately.
Plum loves to interact with other dogs and showcases exceptional temperament around cats. She is a little cautious around bigger dogs but takes time to assess and build relationships. This confirms her intelligent and intuitive nature. Although she still requires some training with a lead and other basics, she shows great potential. Her eagerness to learn and adapt will surely make the training a fun and fulfilling journey.
She is a social butterfly who enjoys being the center of attention, but she can sometimes be a bit timid when first meeting new people or going into unfamiliar situations. However, her shyness doesn't last long, and she quickly warms up to become the most affectionate companion.
Cocker Spaniels are known for their intelligence and their eagerness to please, and our darling Plum is certainly no exception. Her favorite activities involve exploring, sniffing out hidden treats, playing fetch, and anything else that delights her human friends. She's just the right mix of playful spirit and loving friend, and she's very motivated by pats and treats.
The perfect home for her would be one with a family ready to dote on her with all the affection she needs. Plum would respond well to a calm, patient owner who can show her that the world is a friendly place. Plum is ready to wiggle her way into your heart. Could she be the furry friend you've been waiting for?

Adoption details
Our adoption process is easy. You will receive a application for the animals you are interested in. Please full that in and send it back to us.
Even though you may be first to message, this does not always guarantee you will be chosen to adopt. By no means do we run on a "first in, first served basis". We aim to ensure that our animals are adopted into the most suitable home for them and the new family.
With all our animals, we go on what our vet has told us and what we believe the breed and age to be. We never guarantee the breed or age but take the best educated guess.
Please note: Our shelter is located in the Snowy Mountains. We are a 5 hour drive from Sydney and Melbourne and 2 to 3 hours from Canberra.
