About Harley
Are you looking for a playful, outgoing, and affectionate companion to add some spice to your life? Consider adopting Harley, a 2-year-old male Maltese mix, whose sweet nature and love for attention will brighten your days.
Harley craves for your love and adoration. His ideal day consists of running around in the backyard, endless belly rubs, and snuggling with his loved ones. He quickly comes out of his shell when you shower him with gentle pats, soothing words, and endless affection.
Being a smaller boy, Harley gets along wonderfully with small dogs. But he is a little apprehensive around larger dogs - something we think with a little time, socialization, and perhaps some cute puppy playdates, he'll overcome. He is also perfectly comfortable around feline companions, doing a great job of maintaining his manners and acknowledging their space.
Training is an area where Harley will need some guidance. He needs a bit more practice on his leash skills and basic commands. A family willing to invest the time and patience with some positive reinforcement training will find that Harley is a quick learner eager to please his family.
Harley has an adaptability that should not be underestimated. His outgoing nature, combined with his sweet personality, makes him perfect for just about any home, although a home with a smaller dog or even a cat friend could help him feel comfortable and safe.
If you are looking for an affectionate, adorable family companion who can entertain you with his playful antics and melt your heart with his sweet temperament, then Harley could be the one for you! This charming little Maltese cross is ready to bring joy, laughter, and a whole lot of love to his new family!
Medical notes
Harley had a dental scale and clean performed under GA. He passed his vet check. No known medical issues.
Adoption details
Our adoption process is easy. You will receive a application for the animals you are interested in. Please full that in and send it back to us.
Even though you may be first to message, this does not always guarantee you will be chosen to adopt. By no means do we run on a "first in, first served basis". We aim to ensure that our animals are adopted into the most suitable home for them and the new family.
With all our animals, we go on what our vet has told us and what we believe the breed and age to be. We never guarantee the breed or age but take the best educated guess.
Please note: Our shelter is located in the Snowy Mountains. We are a 5 hour drive from Sydney and Melbourne and 2 to 3 hours from Canberra.
