Lunar

Sweet, sweet Lunar is now looking for her forever home. She has recently turned 2 years old in May this year. She is such a pretty and gentle little girl who will make an amazing new addition to your family. Lunar has the most sparkly, smiley and beautiful eyes and when she looks at you, she is looking at you with love. She absolutely loves meeting new people and friendly dogs. She really enjoys going for walks and exploring her surroundings no matter what the weather is. She loves to roll over on her back and get tummy rubs, head massages and scratches behind her ears. She closes her eyes and smiles when this happens. Lunar likes to play with her toys especially if they squeak and run around the house with them. She is toilet trained and a lovable dog, she will need more training with sitting and other commands, but she loves to lay in the sun so a nice sunny spot will be absolutely perfect. Lunar is a very curious girl with a happy smile, she loves to explore every nook and cranny of a new place she visits. She loves to sit and watch outside, Lunar is the full package, beautiful and remarkable, she will make the perfect addition to any family, as her sweet personality will touch anyone’s heart.

Lunar doesn’t mind being at home by myself but loves her humans as well, though she would prefer to hang out with another dog that matches her personality, a soft, gentle and quiet dog. A dog that she can spend some quiet and relaxing time with. She has soft music on during the day and a nice warm comfy bed with a soft blanket to snuggle in. During the day, Lunar will sneak onto my bed, have a sleep and then watch out the window. I can tell that she's been there as the pillows and blanket on the bed have been moved …. Lol. When I work from home, she curls up and falls asleep either in her fluffy bed or under my desk near my feet.
She can be a little cheeky occasionally when home alone and steal the odd shoes to have a chew on

Lunar is great in the car and will travel well in her seatbelt attachment

Lunar will go for a walk anytime and I believe in any weather …. Lol… She absolutely LUV going for walks – as soon as she sees her harness, she knows that it’s time for a walk. She is great on the lead and will wait at the curb on command before going on the command “ok”. Lunar gets distracted all the time and will stop and smell as she doesn’t want to miss anything. She is currently going on daily walks from 30-1 hour, meeting new people and friendly dogs and it’s a lot of fun for her.

Lunar enjoys meeting new humans – she gets very excited meeting them when she is out and about. You can see a smile on her face and can’t wait to head towards them for a pat and a belly rub. She is very playful and loves to play at every opportunity either with her humans or other dogs. I tell Lunar every day that she is a very pretty little girl.
We can denftaily see her in a home with kids as she is very gentle

Lunar is sleeping inside the house on the human’s bed – she is quiet most of the time – but sometimes you can hear a little snore (not loudly though). I have a fluffy dog bed which I will curl up in during the day on the back deck. When she is inside, she likes to snuggle up on the couch or dog bed and get in a comfortable position for a snooze.

Lunar is toilet trained, but I will need some time to get used to my new surroundings, so please take her outside regularly so she knows when she can go to do her business. A dog door would be perfect for her to go inside and outside when she needs to.

Lunar is a wire haired Terrier so will need regular brushing

Luar is still a little on the chubby side and her weight loss will be continued to be worked on
She is INCREDIBLY food fussy

Lunar has had a full dental and had 16 teeth removed

Ideal Home:
Lunar’s ideal home will be with a happy active person or family.
Another dog companion to play with a similar temperament – not domineering.
Allowed to sleep inside either on her human’s bed or a warm fluffy bed.
A family who will take her on daily walks and be committed to get her to a healthy weight and maintain it.
A good-sized yard with secured fencing with shelter, shade, and fresh water every day.
Children in the home would be fine
She is untested with cats
A home where she can have access to inside and outside – she can use a doggy door.
Someone who likes to go on adventures and lets her be part of the family.
A loving home who will give her lots of belly rubs, snuggles and cuddles.
Lunar is such a very special, pretty girl who will be a beautiful addition to your family. She has been such a delight to look after her 😊
