About Zoe
Hi there! I'm Zoe, a charming 4-year-old Labrador cross with a heart full of love and a wagging tail that never stops. I'm looking for my perfect forever home, and I hope you might be the one!
A little about me:
Age: 4 years young
Breed: Labrador cross
Personality: Friendly, playful, and loving
Living Arrangements: I need a secure, fenced yard to keep me safe while I explore and play. I love having a safe space to call my own.
What I'm looking for:
Dog Friends: I get along great with other dogs! If you already have a canine companion, that's fantastic. I'm happiest with another dog around, especially if she's a calm female.
Feline Friends: I've lived with a cat before, so I'm open to meeting a new kitty sibling. I just need a slow introduction to make sure we can be best friends.
Human Companions: I adore kids! But because I can be a bit of a playful handful, I think I'd do best with children who are 8 years old and up. I'd love to meet them first to make sure we're a good match.
Fun Facts:
I'm a big fan of playtime and enjoy running around the yard or taking long walks.
Cuddles and belly rubs are my favorite - I'm a true love bug!
I'm curious and smart, always eager to learn new tricks and commands.
If you're looking for a loyal, loving, and playful furry friend, I might just be the perfect match for you! Swipe right on me, and let's set up a date to see if we're meant to be. Can't wait to meet you!
To book a meet and greet with Zoe please phone 5441-2209 or email barcreception@bendigo.vic.gov.au . Due to the high volume of emails received, enquiries with a request for a specific appointment with phone details included will receive a response as priority over generic applications which state they are interested in meeting an animal.

Adoption details
BARC adoption officers will work with you to help you find a dog or cat that matches your needs, they will discuss things like yard fencing, exercise requirements, other pets and family members, lifestyle factors, and breed experience. To help make this as quick and easy as possible, we ask you complete and adoption questionnaire (located on our website, or you can complete on when you visit). This helps ensure that we are introducing you to the most suitable animals we have available.
We encourage all members of the household to attend a meet and greet with a pet prior to adopting an animal. If the animal being adopted is a dog, we will also require existing dogs in the household to attend the shelter as part of the meet and greet.
Holds can not be placed on animals over the phone, and can only be applied at the discretion of management.
