Proud Mary is a sweet girl who will make a fantastic pet.
While it appears that she didn’t have much human interaction while she was younger, she is now growing in confidence every day.
She can still be quite shy/timid in new situations, but she loves interacting with her humans and will seek them out for pats and cuddles.

Proud Mary is currently in foster care with a resident Kelpie on a hobby farm, and they get on beautifully- playing and chasing each other around.
Proud Mary has been around cattle, sheep and chickens and isn’t fussed by them; and she hasn’t shown any herding instincts either (she prefers to watch rather than join in).

Food motivated and smart, Proud Mary will be a dream to train; basic obedience at minimum will help this smart girl thrive.
She has great recall, and is already crate trained overnight- often taking herself to her crate for some time out if she needs it.
She’s currently in foster care with 2 primary aged children and loves them.

Proud Mary takes comfort in the company of other dogs but could be an only dog if given the right amount of stimulation and love, and if her new owners were home more often than not, or happy to take her on adventures.
She travels well in the car, and walks nicely on a lead without pulling.

Proud Mary really wants to please her people, and will be the perfect companion for a patient person who is willing to take things slow and show her how to safely navigate the world ♥️
