Introducing the handsome and lovable Harley!

Are you looking for a cheeky, silly, enthusiastic pup to bring some joy (and maybe a little bit of mayhem) to your home? Well look no further, Harley is here!

Harley came into our care very nervous and just a bit unsure of the world. With time and patience Harley has begun to come out of his shell and is a big goofy boy - but he really needs a loving, nurturing home to let his true Silly-Staffy personality coming through!

Being a little puppy in a big pups' body, Harley tends to forget how big he really is! He has already mastered sit but would benefit from some ongoing force-free training, which will help him gain those valued foundation skills every dog needs to have a well-balanced life. Staffies are a high energy breed, they require a lot of commitment from their owners and Harley is no exception. Mental stimulation like tough chew toys, kongs, puzzle feeders along with regular exercise will help keep his mind sharp and your shoes safe!

As we mentioned, Harley was a bit of a nervous nelly when he first came in - he will require a calm, patient owner that is willing to let him settle into a routine home life before showering him with loads of physical loving. Did you know it can take up to 3 months for a Shelter dog to decompress from being in a shelter and really learn to feel safe? (cue tears)

Harley loves his people, but other dogs can often overwhelm and over-excite him. His future adopters should be committed to gradual positive introductions to other dogs. This means that Harley may actually be okay to have a friend sometime in the future, but that is dependent on your on-going commitment to his training (he will be just as happy being a solo dog for all his days too!).
