About Lochie
Meet Lochie, a cheerful, 2-year-old Chihuahua mix with an endearing spirit. She is an outgoing pup with a heart full of love for every human she encounters. With a jovial nature at its core, Lochie has the power to make every day brighter.
Lochie is a petite gal who loves to explore the world on her walks. She strides comfortably on the lead, stepping out with determination and a little encouragement from her human companions. She loves the companionship of dogs her own size, but can be a bit shy around larger canine friends - she likes them, but prefers them to approach slowly.
For Lochie, cats are another story. This little lady seems quite comfortable around feline companions, hinting at a well-rounded social behavior and a calm, accepting demeanor. Her friendly nature is a trait that will make her transition to a new family a lot smoother.
Lochie is a social butterfly and doggie extrovert, basking in the company of people and her fellow pets. She adores receiving a warm pat, and will reward her favorite humans with a wagging tail and the happiest of doggy smiles. She can occasionally be coaxed into a playful mood with a treat or two, but her ultimate delight is simply spending quality time with her family.
In conclusion, if you are ready to have your life filled with the joy and energy that only a dog as outgoing and loving as Lochie can give, do reach out. Lochie is waiting eagerly to share her love and embark on this exciting new journey with her new family.
Medical notes
Lochie has a dental scale and clean performed under GA. She passed her vet check
Adoption details
Our adoption process is easy. You will receive a application for the animals you are interested in. Please full that in and send it back to us.
Even though you may be first to message, this does not always guarantee you will be chosen to adopt. By no means do we run on a "first in, first served basis". We aim to ensure that our animals are adopted into the most suitable home for them and the new family.
With all our animals, we go on what our vet has told us and what we believe the breed and age to be. We never guarantee the breed or age but take the best educated guess.
Please note: Our shelter is located in the Snowy Mountains. We are a 5 hour drive from Sydney and Melbourne and 2 to 3 hours from Canberra.
