Sultana isn't your average pup – she's a big, goofy beauty with a flair for the dramatic. While she might seem like a force to be reckoned with, she's also a sensitive soul who just needs love and reassurance. But hey, who wants ordinary when you can have extraordinary?

Loyal, intelligent, and playfully cheeky, Sultana embodies all the wonderful traits of a German Shepherd, along with her stunning Akita markings and strong-willed personality. Currently in her teenage era, she needs guidance and structure to reach her full potential.

Once she’s comfortable, Sultana is the sweetest girl and looooves cuddles. Whether it’s snuggling up on the couch, or following you around the garden, she likes to be involved. While she’s fine being left alone for short periods, she truly thrives when she’s with her family.

Her silly, awkward nature will bring a smile to your face. She prances around with her big, clumsy paws and chases after toys like a horse, making you laugh with her goofy antics. She’s always trying her best to be a good girl, and her earnest efforts are both heartwarming and hilarious. She loves to play and particularly enjoys human interaction. To keep her happy and healthy, Sultana needs an active lifestyle with daily exercise and plenty of mental stimulation through enrichment games, puzzles, and training sessions.

However, Sultana is also an anxious dog who finds new situations and experiences quite scary. She needs some extra special adopters who are patient and calm, and who can provide her with lots of reassurance and guidance, helping her build confidence gradually.

Sultana has already made impressive progress with her lead walking skills and is improving with her fear-based reactivity. She LOVES training!! She’s not suited for first-time dog owners, but with the right person, she’s ready to shine. German Shepherd experience will be highly favoured.

Sultana’s ideal home would be a quiet one, where she can have plenty of time to build up trust and reassurance. She would benefit from a calm environment with minimal changes, allowing her to feel safe and secure.

She gets along beautifully with other dogs and would benefit from having a confident mentor dog in her new home. She previously lived with a confident, active cat, and enjoyed some play and cuddle sessions together. Any cats in her potential new home will need to be equally confident and be introduced slowly to ensure a smooth transition.
