Hi everyone! I'm Diesel. Nice to meet you! Can I tell you a little about myself?

Nature
The Angels rescued me from a colony of cats, along with my siblings. I'm still getting used to this new life with my foster family and with humans. Humans - they scare me, but not so much now I have to say. It took me a long time, but now, I LOVE pats and dem scritches. My Foster Dad was the first to show me what I was missing out on and now... I just CAN'T GET ENOUGH. I even come out when I hear my name called.

I am still timid around humans, so any and all interactions are on my terms only. Sometimes I get called Toothless (like the dragon, because all you can see are my yellow eyes) or T'Challa as I am a "Mini Black Panther"

Companions (Children, Cats & Dogs)
I do really well with other cats! I absolutely LOVE them. I'm still trying to win the approval of my foster cat-bro (not from lack of trying I tell ya!), and I think my foster cat-sis doesn't mind me. I would love to be adopted with either of my sisters or if you have another cat, that would be fine too. We will need slow introductions before I completely win them over with my charm (and singing)!

I haven't been around "human kittens" but I'm sure I'll do fine with them so long as they respect my space and boundaries.

Oh and did I mention that they even have a dog in my foster home? She was a little scary when I first saw her, but I think I'm slowly getting used to her, although she still scares me when she comes up to me to play.

Likes / Dislikes
FOOOD! Oh and more foood! Wet or dry, give me all of it or you'll never hear the end of it! I reallly do enjoy playing with my fellow catlings as well. A simple scratching pad gives me heaps of fun. I don't tend to play much with the humans but I do play catch and with toys with my catlings.

I have recently come to learn, I simply LOVE pats! I'll be the biggest purr machine once you start giving me some chin scritches, but be careful as any sudden movement and I'll scatter like a scaredy cat.

I don’t like loud noises (vacuum, people knocking, dogs barking)! They startle me and I'll freak out and hide! It's taken the humans a while to find me before because I chose a really good hiding spot! *Proud face*! I am still learning to completely trust humans, so I might still throw in a hiss here and there, but it's more of a warning to give me my space. I am actually really just a big ol' softie.

My PURR-fect home would be in most households. I would love to be a part of your family. However, for me to thrive I ask for your patience while I learn to navigate myself around you and slowly try to get over my hissing (I swear, I mean no harm) and get some cuddles and scritches from you (I now know they're really nice). If you have another friendly cat there, that's perfect! Otherwise, you can always adopt me with my sister, Delilah, who is very much like me too.

Perth Rescue Angels recommends all cats are indoor only, unless they have access to a secure cat enclosure.
