Dusty - 3 Year Old Maltese X Shih Tzu (Trial)

Hello! My name is Dusty, the 3 year old Maltese Shih Tzu, I am the gentlest little gentleman looking for my forever loving home.

Here’s a little bit about me:
- Since being in my foster home I’ve loved becoming an inside dog, hanging out on the couch and being a great little snuggler!
- I’m still coming out of my shell but I’m a very chilled out dog and really just love being around people who care for me. I do get a little concerned by sudden noises and I’m still building trust to do fun things like play, but I’m getting there!
- I really like gentle children (my foster home has a 4.5 y.o. and we get on great)
- I’ve been working on my toilet training since being at my foster home and making great progress
- I am hypo-allergenic and non-shedding, so you’ll also need to brush and groom me regularly to prevent my coat getting matted and uncomfortable.

I hope to find a forever home where I will be an important part of the family and treated with kindness, love and care. My perfect home would include company a lot of the time so I can show you just how sweet and affectionate I am, and a place that’s not too loud so I can relax. I’d be happy to live with a calm, small dog, who would help me gain confidence, we’d have to meet first.

Dusty is in foster care in Newcastle, NSW. He is not available for adoption interstate. His adoption fee is $700 and he will be desexed on the 25th June and available for adoption from the 30th June. He will be vaccinated on the 25th June and has been treated for fleas and worms and is microchipped.
