Hi there! My name is Penelope, and I'm a one-year-old Domestic Shorthair (DSH) kitty looking for my forever home. Let me tell you a little about myself.

I'm a shy and quiet girl who appreciates a calm and peaceful environment. Loud noises and lots of commotion make me a bit nervous, so I'd prefer a household that's on the quieter side. I'm not one for rough play or loud activities, so a serene atmosphere would suit me best.

Since I'm a bit timid, I'll need some tender loving care to help me come out of my shell. Once I warm up to you, though, I promise to be the most loyal and loving companion you could ask for. Patience is key with me, but I know that with time and understanding, I'll blossom into a wonderful feline friend.

I'd do best in a home without young children under 12, simply because their energy levels might be a bit too much for me to handle. I'm more comfortable around adults or older kids who understand cat behavior and can give me the space and respect I need.
