If you’re looking for a loyal, cuddly best friend than look no further than River! This poor boy had a very rough start to life but despite that he is the sweetest cat without a mean bone in his body. Once you become a trusted person to him you will have a friend for life. He loves all kinds of pats and rolls around to have his belly scratched too. He loves to give you headbutts and nose kisses but sometimes doesn’t know his own strength. He is just a passionate little soul. He will curl up in your lap and fall asleep making biscuits on your arms and legs.

River loves other cats and is very sweet to any that he meets. He has had bad past trauma with dogs so he is a little hesitant with dogs in his foster home. However he is learning that these dogs are not out to hurt him so he is getting braver each day with them.

He loves to play with other cats but is still a bit unsure how to play with humans. He will mostly seek out humans for cuddles.

If you are willing to be patient and caring with River he will surely turn into a wonderful addition to your home. As he has had a bad experience with children in his past, older kids or an adult household would be ideal ❤️

MEDICAL NOTES
Adoption fee includes vet check, F3 vaccination, flea and worm treatment, microchip - including the transfer of ownership - and sterilisation.

ADOPTION DETAILS
To apply to adopt, please complete a SAFE Cat Adoption Enquiry Form via our website. You will be advised if your chosen cat is still available and then put in contact with the carer for a chance to ask further questions. If a meet-and-greet is then arranged, we will email the adoption paperwork and payment instructions to you prior to this. Please note payment must be made before adoption trial starts and we are unable to take cash payment.

Our adoption process includes a two-week trial to ensure your chosen cat is the right fit for your home. After a successful trial period, SAFE Bunbury will arrange transfer of ownership on your new pet's microchip and email copies of their vet records out to you.
