Marijoey is a sweet soul who is growing in confidence every day. Coming into care with a number of her siblings she was very timid and it was clear she had much more dog interaction than human, but she is making progress daily and now even seeks out affection!

While she loves to play with her foster siblings, Marijoey is calm and independent for a young dog, taking herself into her crate for a rest or out the back for a wander when she pleases.

Food motivated and smart she will be a dream to train; basic obedience at minimum will help this smart girl thrive. Marijoey takes comfort in the company of other dogs but could be an only dog if given the right amount of stimulation and love. Marijoey has not been tested with kids but is young enough to learn and she could be slowly introduced to assertive cats.

Marijoey really wants to please, she will be the perfect companion for a patient person who is willing to take things slow and show her how to safely navigate the world
