About Lamp Post
Meet Lamp Post: The Playful and Cheeky Tabby and White Cat!
Lamp Post is a charming 1-year-old tabby and white cat who is ready to bring endless joy and companionship to his forever home. With his striking tabby markings and bright white fur, Lamp Post is not just a handsome feline but also a bundle of fun and energy.
This cheeky boy loves to play and can often be found chasing after his favorite toys or engaging in a game of hide-and-seek. Lamp Post is full of curiosity and enthusiasm, making every day an adventure. His playful nature is matched by his affection; he adores attention and will happily soak up all the love and pets you can give.
Lamp Post thrives as the only cat in the household, ensuring he gets all the spotlight and affection. He is also wonderful with children aged 6 and older, making him a perfect addition to a family with kids who can keep up with his energetic antics and share in his playful spirit.
While Lamp Post enjoys hanging out indoors with his human companions, he would love the opportunity to explore a safe outdoor area. Whether it's lounging in the sun or investigating the nooks and crannies of a secure garden, Lamp Post will thrive in an environment where he can satisfy his adventurous side.
If you're looking for a lively, loving, and playful companion who will keep you entertained and cherished, Lamp Post is the perfect cat for you. Ready to welcome Lamp Post into your home and heart? He can't wait to meet you and start a lifetime of fun and affection together!
To book a meet and greet with Lamp Post please phone 5441-2209 or email barcreception@bendigo.vic.gov.au . Due to the high volume of emails received, enquiries with a request for a specific appointment with phone details included will receive a response as priority over generic applications which state they are interested in meeting an animal.

Adoption details
BARC adoption officers will work with you to help you find a dog or cat that matches your needs, they will discuss things like yard fencing, exercise requirements, other pets and family members, lifestyle factors, and breed experience. To help make this as quick and easy as possible, we ask you complete and adoption questionnaire (located on our website, or you can complete on when you visit). This helps ensure that we are introducing you to the most suitable animals we have available.
We encourage all members of the household to attend a meet and greet with a pet prior to adopting an animal. If the animal being adopted is a dog, we will also require existing dogs in the household to attend the shelter as part of the meet and greet.
Holds can not be placed on animals over the phone, and can only be applied at the discretion of management.
