At 9 years and 9 months old, Abbieeeee is in her prime and ready to find a forever home where she can be the center of attention. Her black and white coat is as striking as her personality, making her a standout in any crowd.
Abbieeeee adores people and thrives on human interaction. She's seeking a home where she can soak up all the love and attention she deserves. While she would be happy to share her space with a laid-back male dog who isn't too interested in vying for the owner's affection, she would truly flourish as an only dog where she can be the star of the show.
Important Note: Abbieeeee cannot live with cats.
Currently, Abbieeeee is on a strict diet to help her shed some extra kilos and return to a healthy weight. For this reason, we are looking for a foster-to-adopt home that can commit to weekly weigh-ins and support her on this journey to better health.
Despite her diet, Abbieeeee's spirit remains undiminished. She enjoys
daily walks and is always eager for a bit of outdoor adventure. With basic training under her belt, she's well-behaved and happy to stick by your side as long as she gets plenty of love and attention.
Abbieeeee would be delighted to live in a home with children, provided they understand the importance of gentle interaction. She's perfectly content to sit and chill while watching TV, making her an ideal companion for a relaxed family setting.

Adoption details
BARC adoption officers will work with you to help you find a dog or cat that matches your needs, they will discuss things like yard fencing, exercise requirements, other pets and family members, lifestyle factors, and breed experience. To help make this as quick and easy as possible, we ask you complete and adoption questionnaire (located on our website, or you can complete on when you visit). This helps ensure that we are introducing you to the most suitable animals we have available.
We encourage all members of the household to attend a meet and greet with a pet prior to adopting an animal. If the animal being adopted is a dog, we will also require existing dogs in the household to attend the shelter as part of the meet and greet.
Holds can not be placed on animals over the phone, and can only be applied at the discretion of management.
