Atlas is one big goofy boy with a sweet and sensitive side.
He gets on well with all dogs and just loves people. He is cat friendly however he can get a bit fixated on them as he wants to play but if a cat has a go at him he will nudge them back.
He loves to play tug a war and chase his humans and dog siblings around the yard. Atlas is 2.5 but he is one big puppy at heart.
He also loves soft cuddly toys that he can have a chew on.
Since coming into care, Atlas has been exposed to a lot of new environments which is helping to shape his character.
Atlas is a very good boy at home where he knows what is expected of him however in some high stimulated environments like the vets he can get a bit overstimulated and has trouble.listening to commands. Because of this Atlas will need further training and continued exposure to new environments.
Atlas is learning to walk calmly on a flat collar as a head halti distresses him. 80% of the walk he is fine, just pulling ahead times especially when he sees another dog. But he is learning to sit and focus and not be distracted by passing dogs.
Due to his high people pleasing behaviour he gets excited at times and tends to jump up, he is quite redirectable in this and generally, after being told off once, he does not repeat the behaviour in that moment.
Atlas is such a goofy character to have around. Super loving and eager to please anyone if it means spending time with them.
Atlas is $350 to adopt and comes desexed, microchipped, C5 vaccinated and given flea, tick and worm preventatives.
