About Augusta
Meet Augusta, a feline with a beautiful and gentle soul who effortlessly wins the hearts of everyone she meets. Though she may be a little shy when she first arrives in a new environment, her tender nature begins to shine through as she starts to feel at home. Augusta is a young cat and, like every youngster, will have her playful and energetic moments. However, her overall demeanor is quiet and gentle, suggesting a calm and loving presence she’s sure to bring into your life.
One of Augusta's most endearing traits is her constant purring, a soothing soundtrack of affection that she provides just for being near you. She loves to stretch out and give big cuddles, making her an ideal companion for someone looking for a mix of soft-hearted affection and occasional playful antics. Her gentle, loving personality is perfectly balanced with her youthful exuberance.
Augusta has been with us for over two months, watching her siblings find loving families while patiently waiting for her own. During this time, we've all grown to love her sweet and caring personality deeply. She’s like a ray of sunshine, lighting up the room with her warmth and making every day brighter.
If you're looking for a quiet, gentle cat who loves to cuddle and offers endless companionship, Augusta is the one for you. She’s hoping to find a new family where she can continue to spread her love and joy. Could your home be the loving sanctuary she’s been waiting for?
Medical notes
Augusta has a low grade heart murmur that was detected upon her vaccination exam. She has had a specialist echocardiogram performed and has Mitral Valve dysplasia. Out of all heart conditions to have this is probably the best one! She has a really good long term prognosis and then cardiologist has suggested she will have a normal to near normal life expectancy meaning that her heart condition shouldn't cause too many issues in future.
There is no treatment needed and her heart is safe for her to have anaesthetics when required
To ensure her disease hasnt progressed, although unlikely, it is recommended she have a recheck in a years time
