Hello there, my name is Roo, nice to meet you! I am a very sweet but shy girl who is on the lookout for her furever home. I came to the shelter through no fault of my own and unfortunately had some flea allergy dermatitis and cat flu but have been on the mend ever since and am feeling much better. Due to this however, it is imperative that my new family keep me as an indoors only kitten and keep on top of my flea treatments to avoid any flare-ups in the future. But don't worry, I am more than happy to spend my days indoors if it means I get to be by my human's side. Since I am on the more timid side, keeping me indoors can help me feel more comfortable and away from the scary dangerous things from the outside world. If you had a spare low-traffic room to set me up in this would be best as I may find access to the whole house a little overwhelming at first. This room should have all the kitty essentials such as access to fresh water, clean litter trays and a nutritious kitten food diet, plenty of hidey holes and perches for me to retreat to, a scratch post to help keep my nails trim and plenty of toys and enrichment to engage with. I would be best suited to a mature and quiet household also. Once I warm up to you, I am incredibly smoochy and love and good pat and scratch! I have also gained a lot of confidence from my littermates Kanga and Possum who are much more boisterous than me. They help bring out my playful and adventurous side so if you were open to adopting more than one kitten, I think it would be pretty neat to have a familiar face in my new home. I understand if this is not possible but please just be extra patient with me while I learn to adjust to my new home life. If you are wanting a quiet little snuggle bug, ask one of the staff about meeting me today.
