This rather handsome gentleman is Rex. Rex is around 34kgs of boofa love! He is a medium-large dog who loves his people and is a lovely, well behaved boy. Rex is pretty cruisey and can cope with being left on his own for a few hours a day. He is friendly with other dogs when introduced in his yard, and enjoys doing zoomies and chasing about with his doggy friend in foster care. He is fully toilet trained and will happily sleep on the couch or his bed with the other doggo while his foster carers are out. He is non destructive. Rex isn't living with kids at the moment but has done in the past and his carer feels he would be just as loving and friendly with children as he is with his adult humans. Older kids would be ideal due to his size and strength.

Rex is leash reactive when meeting other dogs on walks and is therefore seeking a confident handler and someone willing to work on this (or walk him away from dog-populated places!) We are told that this has not been an issue in his past and are hoping that given some time and with commitment and guidance from a savvy owner his reactivity will decrease. Rex does enjoy his walks and also likes a game of fetch with you in his backyard.

Adoption fee includes vet check, vaccination, microchip (including transfer of ownership fee), flea and worm treatment and sterilisation.

ADOPTION NOTES
Our adoption process for the successful applicant includes a meet and greet, (including your own dog if applicable), a home check (or photos of your yard and fencing to be supplied to us if not local), and a two week trial period to ensure your chosen dog is the right fit for your home.

All adoption fees must be deposited into our SAFE Bunbury bank account in full before adoption trial starts (we cannot accept cash). The Adoption Agreement will be emailed to the selected applicant in advance of meeting your chosen dog.

After the adoption trial period has been completed we arrange transfer of ownership of the dog's microchip to the new owner, and email out the vet records.
