This rather handsome gentleman is Rex. Rex is around 34kgs of boofa love! He is a medium-large dog who loves his people. Rex is pretty cruisy and can cope with being left on his own for a few hours a day. He's fully toilet trained and will happily sleep on the couch or his bed while his foster family are out. He is non destructive. Rex isn't living with kids at the moment but has done in the past and his carer feels he would be just as loving and friendly with children as he is with adults. Older kids would be ideal due to his size and strength.

Rex hasn't been well dog socialised in his past and over time has become less and less dog social. He must be the only dog in his new home, and is best walked in low traffic areas where he won't encounter other dogs, unless you are confident in being able to handle him, as he's strong on lead when he sees them. While Rex does enjoy his walks, a bit of acreage or a large interesting yard will suit him as well, as he loves a game of fetch with you.

Rex bonds very closely with his people once he's settled in, and would make someone a great best mate. He just needs the right person or people to give him a chance. We are hoping his adoption fee of just $50 helps Rex find that special home who will love him - and get some great cuddles back!

MEDICAL NOTES
Adoption fee includes vet check, vaccination, microchip (including transfer of ownership fee), flea and worm treatment and sterilisation. Rex does sometimes get seasonal itchy skin which is helped by regular baths, a good diet and monthly flea treatments.

ADOPTION NOTES
Our adoption process for the successful applicant includes a meet and greet, (including your own dog if applicable), a home check (or photos of your yard and fencing to be supplied to us if not local), and a two week trial period to ensure your chosen dog is the right fit for your home.

All adoption fees must be deposited into our SAFE Bunbury bank account in full before adoption trial starts (we cannot accept cash). The Adoption Agreement will be emailed to the selected applicant in advance of meeting your chosen dog.

After the adoption trial period has been completed we arrange transfer of ownership of the dog's microchip to the new owner, and email out the vet records.
