About Tiger - Located in Preston
Meet Tiger, a delightful ball of furry love, adventure and entertainment rolled into one! This outgoing kitten is guaranteed to fill your home with endless joy and laughter.
Tiger will thrive once he develops a strong bond with his new family. This little boy aims to please and will seek your presence and companionship as much as possible. He shows his affection in many ways - snuggling up next to you on a cold evening, gently rubbing his head against your leg, and purring contentedly when you pet him.
Curiosity knows no bounds when it comes to Tiger. He loves exploring every corner of his home, turning any cozy nook into his personal retreat. As much as Tiger loves to explore, he also thoroughly enjoys a good catnap with his sibling Curly.
Tiger's outgoing personality is one of his most endearing qualities. He's a social superstar and wastes no time getting comfortable with new faces. Always ready to share a warm greeting at the door with a chatty meow and excited tail flick, he's sure to melt your heart every time you come home.
Medical notes
WORLDWIDE CAT VACCINE SHORTAGE
There is currently a worldwide shortage of cat vaccines and supplies are unlikely to be replenished until early 2024. This is due to complicated supply problems post-COVID. Our vets have limited, and in some cases no supplies available, but are prioritising kittens and previously unvaccinated Cats wherever possible.
Kittens are at the highest risk as their level of protection is very low after the initial protection provided by the mother’s antibodies. While protection will wane a little over time, a delay up to three months is unlikely to result in a significant reduction in levels of protection. It is anticipated that clinics should have regular supplies early in the new year to bring your cat back up to date.
First Vaccination completed
We will try to provide at least 1 vaccination, depending on our supplies of vaccines available, however boosters may become overdue. In this case it is your responsibility to contact your vet as soon as supplies become available. We will not be re-imbursing any of this costs.
We require all cats and kittens to be indoors only and not allowed outside. This is especially important now as there is a risk of coming into contact with unknown cats who may not be vaccinated.
No Vaccination completed
Where we are unable to provide any vaccination during their time in care with us, please contact us on 0459779888 or via email to samantha@neko.org.au, and we will arrange for one vaccination to be done at one of our partnering clinics as soon as supplies are available. Boosters after this will be your responsibility.
Please note that should you choose to utilise your own clinic, we will not be re-imbursing any costs. This is your responsibility.
