Cory

Our gorgeous little Cory is now seeking his forever family home
Cory is a wee little Jack Russell x we think Cavvy who enjoys the quieter side of life and being the center of attention to his humans.
Cory is a very loving and loyal companion, he never strays too far unless there are other dogs around as he is incredibly social and loves to say hi!
He is happy chilling in his bed but also loves to play with his toys. He will greet you with a happy 'jump and spin' and loves to snuggle up with you on the couch.
Favorite things -
He loves his string of sausage toys and lion, cuddles on couch and walks,
Interaction with humans -
He can bark at first meeting on his own turf but warms up quickly, he is happy to meet people out and about and due to his size and cute big eyes gets lots of attention and pats.He can start off a little shy of new people but will warm up in no time at all. Cory loves a gentle and calmer family and his new family will need to take it slow while it settles in and his trust will love and a tender home
He is currently in care with school aged children but much prefers his adult people
As we stated Cory is definitely a velcro boy to his favorite person and will floor them around everywhere they go
Obedience / Training-
He can sit and stay and walk well on the lead. He does stop and get distracted when seeing another
dogs as he loves to say hi. He is also good off lead in safe areas
Animal Social Skills -
Cory is generally submissive and although he loves meeting other dogs he doesn’t seem to want to play with but has been polite and respectful. In his previous home he was bullied by another dog so we feel he is best suited as an only boy .
We think he would be ok with a dog savvy cat

Cory is fine to be left at home by himself and will generally just snooze on the couch and play with his toys awaiting his mum to come home
Bathing and Hygiene -
Generally good in the bath but doesn’t like the noise of the dryer.
Sleeping -
He loves to sleep in anyone’s bed but is also happy in his bed next to mine.
Exercise -
Corey LOVES a daily walk around the neighborhood and checkout his surroundings
He is nervous to cross bridges and grates on the path so will need gentle persuasion to build up confidence in these kinds of situations
Inside the home -
Cory is very good in the house, no signs of destructive behavior, he generally either curls up on the couch or follows me around.He has access to inside and outside when at home

A nice quiet home with inside outside access
A nice little yard for sunning and toileting
A home that can take him on a daily walk
We feel that young children in the home is definitely not for him as he isn't a dog what would be happy with children running around or annoying him
Cory would love to be in a home where his favorite human is home more often than not
