Poppy

Poppy is a very shy girl who responds well to love and lots of pats.
Since Poppy has been in care she has come out of her shell immensley & will continue to do so with lots of love and time. Unfortunately Poppy has had a hard up bringing & as such she is a bit scared of any loud noises or really fast movements.
She may also take time to warm up to new people & a new environment, so a home with children 12 Years Old and up is best suited.
She interacts very well with her two foster doggy siblings & doesnt even blink an eye when the cat walks past.
Poppy does get a little bit grumpy with the other dogs when she is tired so she may suit a home with another less energetic dog.
Unfortunately Poppy doesn’t like to walk on the lead at all, her foster carers have been trying but she needs more work in this area.
She loves to sleep on the end of the bed or on the couch inside, she also doesnt mind spending a day outside sitting in the sun.

Ideally Poppy would be best adopted by someone who she can spend the day with & give her the time and love she needs to continue to thrive. Someone who is retired or works from home would be perfect as she loves nothing more than sitting next to you or following you around all day.
