About Dobby
Meet Dobby, a charming and amicable nine-month-old Pointer mix pup waiting to infuse your home with enduring love and palpable joy.
Despite Dobby's young age, he possesses a unique personality that endears him to everyone who crosses his path. He is intense in his love for human companionship and is very affectionate in showing it.
Dobby thrives on exclusive attention and would therefore be ideally suited to a household where he is the only pet. This one-dog home setup is needed due to his tendency to display resource guarding. But don't let this trait deter you; once he is comfortably settled in and secure in his surroundings, he is sure to be your loyal companion.
Known for his occasional adventurous streak, Dobby has a fondness for exploring his surroundings. Due to this, and his mild separation anxiety, he requires a secure yard to keep him safe when outdoors. Dobby is also at a stage in life where he would benefit from ongoing training, to help him manage his emotions and become even more sociable.
If you are the kind of family that appreciates the individual quirks that make a pet unique, and you are prepared to provide Dobby with the love and care he needs to feel secure, he could be the perfect addition to your household. Adoption details
We are not open to walk ins, appointments by booking only. All households members must be present before we can adopt an animal out.
As our goal is to adopt animals out from the shelter into loving homes as fast as possible, multiple bookings may be made for the same animal.
We are not able to hold any animals for any reason.
As such, there is a possibility that the animal you may have found a forever home before your appointment. If this is the case we will inform you by phone call as soon as possible.

June 15th 9:00am-12:00pm
June 22nd: 9:00am-12:00pm
June 29th- CLOSED
For serious enquires we are able to accommodate to outside our normal appointment hours. Please call us to arrange a time.
