About Angelo
This is Angelo!
Angelo is an amazingly smoochy two year old male domestic shorthair. Despite Angelo’s chubby smooshy grumpy face, he is one of the most affectionate cats you could meet, he is the king of purrs and headbutts! Angelo is currently in foster care with a family who have 2 young children and although Angelo ADORES the young boys who help look after him, he would be better suited to a home that is calm and quiet as he is still quite timid when it’s comes to loud noises.
Beautiful Angelo was abandoned by his previous family as a kitten and left outside to fend for himself when they moved. Despite this, he is so trusting and so incredibly friendly and sweet. He is a big guy, with a gentle and beautiful nature and an even bigger heart. He would make the perfect companion for a couple, s single person, a senior person, or a family with gentle older kids. We're not sure if he's been around dogs but we think he'd adapt very quickly to a gentle, calm- natured dog.
Sadly, due to his time on the street, Angelo is FIV positive. He is such a gentle soul, this is through no fault of his own and only because he has been bitten by another cat. This really doesn't affect him or his quality of life, he just needs an indoor only home. He could also live with another FIV positive cat, and he'd be happy being an only cat too as he just adores attention :)
Medical notes
FIV positive
Adoption details
Please direct messages to Rosie, our kitten adoption officer. Please provide as much details about your home and family as possible. We are a very busy vet hospital, so we prefer no phone calls :) Thank you.
IMPORTANT: All cats and kittens adopted out from Drummoyne Veterinary Hospital MUST go to either an indoor-only home, or a home with a suitable cat-proof outdoor area or enclosure. Our mission is to make Sydney a better place for cats, their families and our precious wildlife. That means responsible re-homing. We want our cats and kittens to go to the safest, most loving of homes. We don't want them exposed to risks such as getting hit by a car, dog attacks, cruelty from people, injury or death from cat fights or dog attacks, or contracting infectious disease. We want them to live a long, happy and healthy life with their families; safe from harm :)
Please note we do not hold kittens - it's a first in, first served basis once we have reviewed your application and invited you to meet the kitten.
