About Livy
Our senior Snoot Livy is ready to find her ultimate retirement home.
Livy is an ex-racing greyhound who we suspect hasn't had the best of life. Livy is 8 years and 11 months old (DOB 18/6/2015).
Since coming into our care from the pound Livy has learnt to enjoy the comforts of being an indoor lady. She is learning to play a little from her foster brothers - also retired Greyhounds.
Livy has found the comfort of a soft warm bed. She is starting to initiate requests for pats from her foster human. She is however still a little shy with strangers and often has a concerned look that she is going to be told off.
Livy has learn the joys of going for a daily walk and her snoot gets a working out from sniffing all those doggy sign posts along the way.
Livy appears to be enjoying the company of respectful, low energy (except for the occassional zoomies) doggy friends. Livy still has that strong prey drive so not suitable to be living with cats, pocket pets or small fluffy dogs.
Livy would love a home with a human to dote on her and continue to engage her with toys and take her for daily walks.
Livy has recently been desexed, had a dental and been vaccinated. Livy has been flea and worm treated. Her adoption fee is $300.
If you are looking for a sedate indoor companion that will get you out for a daily stroll please contact Carolyn on 0427 221 231.

Adoption details
We like to take the personal approach where a person sends an email of interest around an animal and then we will follow up with phone discussions and email exploration through a survey.
Please note we are a small group of volunteers that balances the administrative side with the care of the animals.
Please only apply for one of our animals if you are genuinely interested in them.
We expect the prospective owner to travel to meet the animal and we are open to trial periods to ensure we have the match right.
