Hi there! I'm Salem, a charming black cat. I'm known for being very smoochy and friendly once I get to know you. At first, I might be a little nervous, but don't worry—once I settle in and become comfortable with you, I'll happily bunt for more pats and affection.

I came into the shelter feeling a bit nervous and timid, so I'm looking for a quiet and calm household where I can feel safe and loved. A home with plenty of hiding spots would be perfect for me, as I like to have my own little spaces to retreat to when I need some alone time. 

It would also be great if my new family could do some research on cat behavior, so you'll know when I'm feeling uncomfortable and can help me feel secure.
