About Iggy
NSW/ACT: GEORGEOUS BOY IGGY IS ON THE LOOKOUT FOR HIS FOREVER HOME!🍀🐶🍀
Many of you will remember our little boy Iggy who was sadly surrendered into our care as a medical emergency early this year.
Iggy was diagnosed with a portosystemic liver shunt, and quite a large one at that. Also, compounded by a bladder full of stones, causing obstruction in his urethra, preventing Iggy from being able to wee and his bladder not emptying. The only way to address these issues, was for Iggy to have two complex surgeries at the same time.
After several months of recovery and follow up checks, our Iggy has been given the all clear, and is now ready to find his forever home – a home that is dedicated to maintaining his diet and attentive to his ongoing medical checks.✅
Information about Iggy:
▪️ AGE: Two years old
▪️ BREED: Pug cross
▪️ LOCATION: Sydney
▪️ KIDS: Older kids 7+
▪️ CATS: Untested
▪️ OTHER NOTES: To keep bladder stones at bay, Iggy will require to be on a special prescription diet. He will also require routine checks to ensure stones are not in his bladder.
Iggy, is an adorable, petite, and a slender pug cross with the heart of a champion and spirit full of joy.💝
Packed with personality, Iggy starts each day with a fun-filled run around the house with his best foster buddy, setting the mood for the day's adventures.
Iggy is highly attentive and affectionate towards his family, and his favorite part of the day is when it's time to snuggle under the blanket with his human companions.
Iggy cherishes this bonding time, and he's always sure to let you know when he's ready for those warm and cozy under-the-blanket snuggles. 🥰
His evenings are filled with fun as he loves to have playful bouts with his buddy, right on the lounge, after his dinner.
Along with his affectionate nature and playful antics, Iggy is also very patient. He's happy to entertain himself with a toy when you're busy.🧸 Alternatively, he'll sit patiently, snuggled up, waiting for you to join him on the lounge.
While Iggy doesn't get stressed when his humans are away during the day, he does enjoy the company of a fellow canine bestie to pass the time with. Whether it’s for snuggling up or some play time – a doggy friend will be appreciated.
Iggy would adore a family that includes him in their family activities and outings.🚙
All in all, Iggy is a charming little boy who will be an amazing addition to any family that's full of love and is willing to embrace his loyal and playful spirit.
We know there is a special family out there that would love to welcome Iggy into their home and hearts, and if this is you, we would love to hear from you!
