The transport van rolled into the truck stop on a stormy Thursday night. Here I was rescued from the pound with a belly full of babies but I had no idea what was to become of me. I was scared but remained calm as I was transported from one carrier to another and off we drove to my new life.
Now to present day. I had my 5 beautiful babies , and have gone from skin and bones and fur like straw to a sleek shiny soft coated lady that is looking to start a life with a family of my very own.
What is it about me that has my foster mum thinking I am super special ? My life was obviously very tough before I was rescued but I have slotted into my foster family with such ease. “Ladylike “ is a term that could have been made just for me. I live in a multi pet household and get along with absolutely everyone. Looking after any newbies that arrive I make sure they are always groomed and have someone they can come to, to find comfort. Not only an old soul but the gentlest of souls.
You will find me curled up beside you on the bed, or laying on the desk while you work. I purr when I see you, you don’t have to even touch me. I love, love my people. You will find yourself looking for me and wanting to find me near you. I will integrate myself into your life and heart so unassumingly you will wonder how quickly it happened, but you will be forever thankful that it did.
PLEASE NOTE: WEEKEND MEET AND GREETS ONLY DUE TO WORK COMMITMENTS ❤
If you would like to meet me please email the rescue at fostersadoptslpr@gmail.com or pm the Silver Lining Pet Rescue Inc facebook page.

Adoption Process
Once you have decided you would like to meet or apply for one of our pets, we email out our Adoption Application. We ask that the Adoption Process be read and if comfortable with how we adopt, complete the application and email it back for processing. This takes approximately 5-7 days. If approved the pet will come for a 6 week trial for cats and 3 week trial for dogs . We believe it takes that long for a pet to settle. If all goes well during the trial and you wish to finalise the adoption we email all vet certificates and change of microchip forms. We believe in matching the right pet with the right home so your application does not guarantee an approval.
