About Snow
Hey there potential new pawents, my name is Snow and I am an 8-month-old female desexed mareema. I am a bit nervous to start but once I have built my trust with you I am a super friendly girl who loves to follow my foster mum around the farm on her daily activities and run and play with my foster siblings.
I am great with kids (currently living with a dog obsessed 4 year old boy) and I have also been exposed to cats, kittens, chickens, ducks, horses, pigs, goats, cows and calves. I have 4 doggy foster pals who I am also great with. I am still learning my manners around some species so will need further training and supervision as I am still young with limited exposure to livestock up until now, therefore a new owner with experience with the breed is a must. In the right hands I have the potential to make a great guardian dog whether it be guarding the home or with lifestock. I love being around the goats where I am so this may be my calling.
My ideal home will be on a large property, I am definitely not suited to suburban life, where I can follow my drive to be a protector and have plenty of room to move! I am a sensitive dog who thrives on praise and patience. I am a typical maremma and can be stubborn at times, I like to do things as I decide, however I have mastered my basic training and as I start to trust you more I will listen to commands more too. I can use my bark rather effectively so my foster mum is more than aware if anything new or different or if someone or something comes onto the property, I don't bark constantly though and can be fairly quiet most of the time.
I will need a strong owner who understands my breeds traits and who will carry on with my training and provide boundaries. I will definitely reward you with devotion and lots of love! With the right training I could potentially become a valuable addition to a large acreage looking for a guardian of sorts for the home. I will need someone who is patient whilst I learn to build my confidence. A home with another dog would be a bonus as I am a social girl but this is not a deal breaker as a home with someone around more often than not would also be perfect for me.
I am a loveable beautiful girl who is playful, loves a good pat and am eager to bond to my human. I follow my foster mum about and around the farm and love it.

Adoption details
To apply to adopt a dog from Dogs4Jobs, you must firstly complete our adoptions application form in full at http://dogs4jobs.com.au/adoption-form/.
You can also write out your answers and email them to dogs@dogs4jobs.com.au
*Please note, due to the high volume of applications received, we will not respond to Petrescue chat messages, or enquiries to adopt a dog. You must complete our adoptions form to be considered for the dog or pup, and we will respond to this form via our email.
We will then request to complete a yard check, or for you to send in photos of your yard showing the fencing, space, shelter and any hazards etc, to confirm it is safe and secure, as well as adequate space for a working breed dog.
Following this, we will then put you in touch with the dog/s foster carer/s that you are interested in, to chat further over the phone, about whether the dog is a good fit for your family, and vice versa. We are searching for the perfect match for each dog and their needs. We offer interstate adoption on all of our dogs.
