About Nylah
Hi there! I'm Nylah, also known as Lady Nylah as I am such a gentle and delightful young girl.
I can be reserved at first but with time you’ll watch me blossom into a confident and prancing lady. I get along great with other people and dogs making me a great companion on walk, a weekend bbq at friends or a stroll to the local coffee shop on the weekend. After our exercise, I'm perfectly content to lounge around and be a couch potato. Life doesn’t have to be all go go go with me, I prefer to lounge around and snooze like a champion. A good run in on the beach would be amazing, but don’t expect me to get in the ocean, or in a pool for that matter. That isn’t my lady-like take on how to enjoy the outdoors ;)
One of my absolute favourite things in the world is a soothing face massage. I'll gladly rest my chin in your hands and bask in the relaxation. I am very affectionate and enthusiastically greet you with furious tail wags. You may think I'd be the type of dog to lean all over you, but that’s not lady-like either so I prefer to keep your company from a respectable position close to you rather than 'on' you…perhaps the occasional paw or my head resting on you so you know I'm close by.
I absolutely adore food. Kibbles, roast chicken, salmon, sausage, vegetables and a little cheese its all fabulous. I have impeccable manners when it comes to taking food and treats from your hand. You'll be impressed by how gentle I am. You should also see how good I am on a lead, a ‘one finger walker’ unless I see a kangaroo because I'd love to race one to a finish line so long as its not a long way away.
I love kids but sometimes their boisterous loud energy and desire to hug me makes me nervous. I don't want a home where kids want to be all over me all the time, or might scare me awake whilst I'm sleeping. I would prefer a quieter household with teens and grown ups if I'm being honest.
Dogs make wonderful companions, and the benefits of bringing one home are immense. They’re loyal, loving, and endlessly entertaining. Plus, you’ll never be lonely or bored with a pup by your side.
Adopting a dog can also provide you with an opportunity to give a pup in need a second chance. With the right amount of love and patience, you can help your pooch become a confident, well-rounded canine companion.
You’ll also get to experience the unique bond between two-legged and four-legged friends. Plus, dogs can provide you with plenty of physical and mental health benefits. From providing you with daily exercise, to reducing stress and anxiety, to providing you with unconditional love and companionship, the advantages of canine ownership are endless.
So, if you’re ready to welcome a pup into your life, consider adopting a dog today. You won’t regret it!

4 THINGS TO CONSIDER BEFORE APPLYING:
1. Time Commitment: Owning a dog is a big responsibility and requires a significant commitment of time and energy. Be sure to consider how much time you can realistically dedicate to caring for a dog and make sure you are prepared to make that commitment.
2. Cost: Owning a dog can be expensive. Make sure to consider the cost of food, medical care, toys, and other supplies. You may also want to think about enrolling your dog in obedience classes or hiring a professional dog walker.
3. Space: Depending on the breed, some dogs require a lot of space. Make sure you have enough room in your home and yard to accommodate a dog before making the decision to adopt.
4. Lifestyle: Think about your current lifestyle and how a dog may fit into it. Consider if you have any restrictions such as travel, work hours, or allergies. Also, think about how owning a dog may affect your social life.
NOTES:
Adoption fee includes vet check, first vaccination*, flea and worm treatment, microchipping and sterilisation at a SAFE approved vet at 6 months of age.
*Puppies may require further vaccination(s) to complete the full vaccination course. This will be at the cost of the new owner and is not included in the adoption fee.
