As a young pup, Meeka is eager to learn more about the world. Her training is ongoing, and she's a quick learner, already mastering the basics like 'sit' 'lay down', 'stay', and even 'shake hands'. She also is well on her way with her toilet training and is crated at night, comfortably. Do note that she is expected to grow into a fairly chunky dog; a gentle giant filled with love for her humans.

Meeka is a friend to older primary school-aged children and is sociable with some other dogs. She's been successfully socialising with a Labrador puppy in her foster home, and they enjoy their playful sessions together. Her ideal family would be one that's patient, consistent, and affectionate.

While Meeka is a cuddler and a fantastic couch buddy, she manifests signs of being protective over her food, especially around other animals. But, with a bit of patience, time, and dependence, this trait can be managed efficiently.

One important factor to consider with Meeka is her strong prey drive, making her not suitable around caged birds or cats. She also requires a home with secure fencing, giving her room to release her energy without etching any escape plans.

Fully vaccinated, microchipped, flea and worm treated, and desexed, Meeka is ready to find a family who will cherish her active nature, nurture her training, and lavish her with love. And in return, she will reward you with unconditional love, endless fun, and a happy wagging tail.
