Adoption information
About Marco
Marco is a Garfield equivalent. He is one giant, well baked, ginger foodie with a positive attitude for life.
He was originally a wild bush cat who came visiting a few months ago to say hello and never left.
Marco tamed up really well and over the months his put 2 and 2 together deciding being happy and friendly is much better then being wild and scared.
He loves his food and now and he loves his pats and butt scratches too.
Marco always loudly greets you and starts his happy dance when he sees you coming in excitement. I'm proud of him for coming so far.
He unfortunately tested positive for FIV, but luckily we have 1 other FIV+ cat so he has a friend.
Being FIV+ he needs a indoor only, only cat or with other +' cats home.
He is going to be the biggest most affectionate smoochy bear for his owner once he trusts them.
Medical notes
FIV +
Feline Immunodeficiency Virus is a permanent condition which destroys the immune system over many years making it more difficult to recover from illness and injury.
FIV+ cats usually live out their natural life spans without issue when taken care of and kept indoors.
Adoption details
All our cats and kittens come desexed, vaccinated, microchipped and parasite treated. Our adult cats and high risk kittens are tested for FIV/FELV.
Kittens come home to you around 12 to 13 weeks after being desexed if they are of appropriate weight and health at that time.
All our cats require indoor only homes for their safety and to protect the wildlife. An outdoor enclosure can be a safe way for your cat to experience the outdoors.
We have a number of transport services that can bring your new baby to you around QLD so distance is not an issue.
We do our best to make sure every cat gets the best home they can, but we have a life time returns policy for our adopted babies should they ever find themselves in trouble.
