About Rascal
Rascal by name, cute little rascal by nature. Rascal is delightful ginger ninja! With a heart full of love and a proclivity for playful exploits, Rascal is guaranteed to add joy and excitement to any family lucky enough to have him.
Full of vibrant energy, Rascal is a bundle of fun that personifies the phrase 'small but mighty'. As a "champion smoocher", he's an ardent believer in spreading love via lots and lots of nose kisses. Want to entice him for those charming "paws-on-face" sessions? Well, simply all you need to do is, give him a nose kiss, and he'll be purring in sheer delight. Rascal's love for his human family doesn't stop there, he's equally fond of pouncing up on your shoulders and snuggling in, gaining a bird's-eye view of his adored household.
Rascal's fascination with toys is boundless. He’s often seen running around the room with his toy tucked lovingly in his mouth, like treasured trophies. His playful side truly blossoms when he's around other feline members always enjoying a friendly round of rough and tumble with his siblings.
Rascal would suit an energetic home with a family or people able to give him all the attention he craves. A home with very small children would not be suitable as Rascal may playfully nip if he gets super excited. He’s still learning humans aren’t his kitten siblings! Another energetic feline is a must for this little guy. He hasn’t been tested with dogs but with the right introductions would likely be fine.

OUR ORGANISATION
Sunny Days runs Victoria's only specialised stray cat rehab facility in Avalon, Vic. Our centre operates 24/7 and is in constant demand due to the sheer number of cats born wild.
HOW ARE WE FUNDED?
Despite demand, we have no ongoing funding. Unlike public pounds who enter into contracts with councils, volunteer-run shelters like ours do not receive government funding, we are left to fund our work through our own pockets and community donations.

OUR WORK
We take in cat colonies, pregnant and nursing mothers, kittens, FIV positive cats, and sick or injured cats. Cats are humanely trapped after being identified as un-owned and we support them through rehabilitation from wild to domesticated. We don't give them deadlines to be socialised by or they'll be euthanised, we provide sanctuary for as long as they need.
We offer a lifetime guarantee to take our adopted cats back should something happen and their adopters are no longer able to care for them.
