Ellie was found alone in a Coles car park at 10 weeks of age, but did that put her off? Nope, she's proud of her roots - she's from the hood, and she loves to play. Her energy goes into chasing, running, wrestling and doing all the other important kitten things. She's a proper little athlete, brave, strong and graceful even though she is little. She seems to think that kitten months are too short for sitting still and wants to make the most of them.

At the moment, when Ellie is busy being a kitten, patting her takes good reflexes because she is like a flash. Here now and gone the next moment. It is funny to watch her antics. However, when she gets tired, she comes to look for a human, purring and asking for pats. She loves napping on a warm lap when humans are sitting down, be it working or watching TV. Even though she can be independent, she is not a loner - she prefers a spot near her cat, human or dog friends. It might take a week or two to get into her good books but once you're part of Ellie's gang, she will be your best friend.

Ellie is excellently skilful in playing with other cats and because she is a tough cookie, she can happily play with cats much bigger than her. Therefore, she is looking to join a home with another friendly & laidback cat who would benefit from a playful friend. If the other cat has been alone for a while and forgotten how to play, Ellie’s energy is infectious and she will teach anyone if they just are interested. Ellie has been fostered with dogs and she's okay with them. She would be best suited to a family with teenage kids.
