Introducing Rivers, a handsome boy with beautiful grey fur. Rivers has an engaging curiosity that is both endearing and delightful to watch.
Forever playful, Rivers will keep you entertained with funny antics that make for memorable moments. Balls, yarn, laser pointers - name any classic cat toy and Rivers will probably love to bat it, chase it, or pounce on it. His favourite thing ever is to play pounce and tumble with his siblings (also available for adoption)!
But don't be fooled by the playful exterior, Rivers is also very affectionate, a super smoocher! Quite fond of snuggling, Rivers is always ready to share some well-timed purrs and head-butts.
Rivers is quite the curious feline, always ready to explore fun-filled nooks and crannies.
Rivers would suit a home where his people (family/ single/ couple) are home more often than not and he would need another energetic feline in the home. He hasn’t been tested with dogs but with the right introductions would likely be ok with them.

ABOUT SUNNY DAYS
Sunny Days runs Victoria's only specialised stray cat rehab facility in Avalon, Vic. Our centre operates 24/7 and is in constant demand due to the sheer number of cats born wild.
HOW ARE WE FUNDED?
Despite the demand, we have no source of ongoing funding. Unlike pounds who enter into contracts with councils, volunteer-run shelters like ours do not receive government funding, we fund our work through our own pockets and community donations.

OUR WORK WITH CATS
We take in colonies, pregnant and nursing mothers, orphan kittens, FIV positive cats, and sick or injured cats. Cats are humanely trapped after being identified as un-owned we support them through rehabilitation from wild to fully domesticated. We don't give them deadlines to be socialised by or they'll be euthanised, we provide sanctuary for as long as they need.
We offer a lifetime guarantee to take our adopted cats back should something happen and adopters are no longer able to care for them.
