Introducing Handsome Abe!

This boy is a gentle soul, loving any attention directed to him from a simple pat or a handful of treats 💙

HOUSEHOLD - Abe is a relaxed, loving boy. He could suit a variety of homes but would thrive best in a home environment where he is included as much as possible with his new family, such as time in the home or having the family spend time with him outdoors.

ON GOING TRAINING - Training Abe is easy as he responds well when treats are on offer. Abe has not shown any major areas that will need work.

ON LEASH - Abe is calm boy on the leash. At times, he may get eager and pull, but he is easily corrected.

PLAY/TOYS - Abe has shown some interest in toys but prefers attention from his humans and anything food related.

OTHER DOGS - Abe is dog friendly. However, he prefers his own company and displays little interest, engaging and wanting to be in their presence for a long period of time. For this reason, we are recommending Abe be homed as an only boy.

CATS/OTHER ANIMALS - Abe is not suitable to be housed with a resident feline.

CARE/GROOMING - Abe loves any type of attention, not having an issue with his whole body being touched. His short staffy coat requires regular brushes and a bath when needed.

EXERCISE - A daily walk and playtime outdoors with his family would keep Abe content and healthy.

BREED - Gorgeous Staffy X, DOB 1/1/2017

Abe is located at our Charmhaven Shelter. His reduced $450 adoption fee covers- microchipping, desexing, lifetime registration, current vaccination, flea and worming treatments.
