About Rhea
Rhea's time for adoption has arrived. For her story, please read on...
There are kittens/cats who are born confident to strut their stuff all around their castle and our Rhea is one of those, however underlying all that swagger, there is a little kitten who had a very traumatic life until she came to the safety of our shelter.
Rhea is a sweet, playful and sensitive young lady and she would do best in a home with an experienced cat guardian, who will understand cat body language and signs of arousal (excitement) in Rhea. They will encourage play with toys instead of hands and know it's time to stop when Rhea has reached her play limit. They will find that underneath all her bravado, there is a loving, purring kitten/cat just bursting for love and attention. Other things that would help Rhea are:-
* Rhea would flourish if she is the ONLY FUR-BABY in the household.
* She would do best in a home with OLDER CHILDREN who understand cat behaviour.
* A SAFE, INDOOR LIFESTYLE is an absolute must for Rhea as outside is no place for her.
* To help her settle in to your home, a LAUNCH ROOM would be extremely beneficial. Please ask us how to do this.
* Inside the home, FUN AND PLAY can be provided by cat scratchers, wand toys and lots more.
* A nutritious diet of quality dry biscuits and delicious wet food. We are on hand to answer any questions you may have about Rhea and how you can offer her a new home.
