About Rosie
***WE'RE ALWAYS ON THE LOOKOUT FOR FOSTER CARERS TO HELP US OUT SO IF YOU THINK YOU CAN PROVIDE A TEMPORARY HOME FOR ONE OF OUR BEAUTIFUL CATS PLEASE LET US KNOW. THE MORE CARERS WE HAVE AVAILABLE TO LEND A HAND THE MORE CATS WE CAN HELP REHOME***
This gorgeous little soul is one of the most beautiful little ladies we've ever had the pleasure of looking after. She is very sweet, very gentle, very affectionate and just loves people. She is one of gentlest and kind natured cats you'll ever meet.
Rosie was well loved by her previous owner but sadly a change in living situation and the arrival of a newborn their new born baby made things a bit tough for her cat mum so she made the tough decision to find her a new home. She has come from a loving household and is filled to the brim with unconditional love.
She can be a bit shy when first arriving in a new place, like most of us, but once she's had a chance to settle in her beautiful personality will shine through and you'll find yourself with a smoochy companion. One day she will randomly jump up on your desk while you're working and you'll never look back.
Having arrived not long ago she is still getting used to life in her new foster home but is making progress every day.
As an older lady she enjoys being around people but values her independence and and her affection is very much on her terms. She can be picked up and cuddled but only for a few minutes and will politely let you know when it's time to be put down.
She loves a pat and is always waiting for a scratch each morning when the alarm goes off. She loves to sit purring on legs and knees, and occasionally a lap, and will keep her person warm for hours on end. She also likes to walk in an out of your legs, purring and waiting for a pat, and will tap your ankles to let you know she's waiting for attention.
She is quite curious, is great with young kids and has a very chilled out personality that makes her perfect for almost any situation. Rosie isn't real sure about newborns but otherwise does not have a mean bone in her body.
Rosie would be the perfect fit for someone who's looking for a low maintenance and loving companion, and who wants to add an abundance of unconditional love to their household.
Rosie is approximately 8.5 years old and has been desexed, vaccinated, microchipped, flea and worm treated and is available for adoption right meow.
If you think you have the room in your heart and your home to provide this gorgeous little lady with a great life please let us know and we’ll be more than happy to arrange a time for you to meet and fall in love with her.
Located in Ringwood with our amazing foster carers.
Urban Feline Australia is a newly established cat rescue service dedicated to keeping cats out of kill shelters and helping them find loving forever homes. We specialize in helping "surrenders" which are cats that have lived with humans previously but for one reason or another their owners are unfortunately no longer able to look after them. We take your pets into our amazing cat sanctuary where they're treated with love and affection until the right forever home is found for them.
Urban Feline Australia is not a large company with a shop front and multiple staff, it a is a very small, one man operation run from the safety of our own home. We rely heavily on cooperation from friends, other rescues, our amazing foster carers and the kindness of strangers to survive. All donations received and every cent from adoptions fees goes straight back to the cats in the form of food, litter, toys and vet bills. Meet and greets are by appointment only.
