About Ollie and Frankie
Ollie and Frankie are brothers and best friends! They are joined at the hip. They love each other, people and other doggies too.
These boys are sweet and loving and looking for a home where they are included ALL the time so they feel settled AND where their family is home more often than not. Lots of love + cuddles, quality food, a daily walk or run and this pair will have all their boxes ticked. They have basic manners, love a ride in the car and are both toilet trained. The boys are untested with cats but love to chase especially birds so I think a cat free house would suit best. They are looking forward to meeting their new forever family who will keep them healthy and spoil them rotten.
Age - Ollie 7 yrs and Frankie 6 yrs
Desexed, vaccinated, microchipped and registered - Yes
Flea, tick, wormed, heart wormed - Yes
Vet checked - Yes
Adoption details
We aim to ensure that every adoption is a perfect match. Our adoption process is made to ensure the well being and happiness of both the Cavalier and their adoptive family. It works like this:
1. ADOPTION LISTING: When the time is right we will list rescued/surrendered Cavalier’s here on Pet Rescue. Please read and consider the listing before applying.
2. ADOPTION APPLICATION: Prospective adopters begin by filling out an application for adoption. Please email me (rhiannanaylor@hotmail.com) and I will email you back an application form to complete. This form helps us understand your lifestyle and situation to match that with each Cavalier’s individual needs, personalities, development and health.
3. MEET AND GREET: Once your application is reviewed we will be in touch if we feel we have a match. We will arrange a meet and greet. This gives you an opportunity to interact with the Cavalier and determine if there is a connection.
4. ADOPTION AGREEMENT: If the interaction goes well we'll ask you to sign an agreement regarding the adoption. This document outlines the responsibilities of both parties and serves as a commitment to providing a loving forever home to the adopted Cavalier.
5. ADOPTION FEE: An adoption fee is required to help cover the costs associated with the day to day care, medical care, grooming, transport, paperwork and rehabilitation. The fee varies depending on the situation.
6. TAKE YOUR NEW FAMILY MEMBER HOME: Congratulations! Once the adoption process is complete and the adoption fee is paid, you can take your new furry family member home. We will provide you with all the necessary information, including medical records, feeding guidelines and tips for a smooth transition. Please be prepared to work with your rescued Cavalier through the adjustment period that may follow the adoption. Some stress and confusion is natural. Housebreaking mistakes may occur until the Cavalier is on board with the new routine. They may be cautious at first and it may take a little while for them to be interested in food or play. In order for them to adjust to your home and family they need your time, love and patience plus positive training.
7. FOLLOW UP SUPPORT: Our commitment to you and your new pet Cavalier doesn't end after adoption. We offer ongoing support and guidance to help ensure a successful transition and a lifetime of happiness for both you and your furry friend. Feel free to reach out to us with any questions or concerns you may have along the way.
