About Millie STA012723
Meet the delightful Millie, a petite sweetheart who is looking for her new family. Millie has a beautiful ginger coat that is as fiery as her personality. She's more than just a pretty face; she's packed with a unique blend of character that's bound to leave you entertained and smitten.
The onset of new surroundings may sometimes make Millie a bit hesitant but give her a little time, and she’ll warm up to become the most affectionate and loving feline companion you can imagine. When settled, Millie enjoys engaging in conversations. She is not shy when it comes to expressing her thoughts; you will love her chatty nature and the priceless moments of interaction.
At the end of the day, a good play session followed by some petting is what Millie loves the most. She enjoys a variety of toys and will keep you involved in her antics. Her idea of a perfect day includes basking in the sun, observing the birds from the window, and curling up on a cozy chair for a comfortable nap.
Like a true ginger, Millie may display a little bit of a stubborn side, and she’s got her own opinions on things. She'll let you know what she likes and what she doesn't. These traits make her incredibly special and unique.
Adoption details
Simply note the ID number and the cats name and visit our hostel at 200 Elder Street in Greensborough. Alternatively you can call the hostel on 8457 6500. We are currently open Mon-Fri 10am-4pm / Sat-Sun 10am-3pm.
You should bring proof of your current address and preferably photo identification such as your driving license. You can only adopt a cat for yourself we do not allow animals to leave with third parties. If you are wishing to adopt a cat as a present for someone, bring them with you as cats are individuals and bond with different people in different ways, the cat you may choose, may not choose your friend! It is also important to allocate time for adoption and we recommend you allow at least a couple of hours to get to know the cat and do the necessary paperwork.
When you visit you will get to meet the cat and as this is a very important decision for both you and the cat you choose we will want to ensure the two of you are compatible and that you understand what will be involved in taking the cat into your home.
We will want to be satisfied that you are prepared to be a responsible pet owner. Responsible pet owners at the most basic level, have their pets registered, micro-chipped and de-sexed unless they are registered breeders. They also understand the issues involved in being able to properly care and take responsibility for the welfare of their pets. Most Councils in Victoria have limits on the numbers of cats you may own without a permit. It is important to check with your Council if you already own the limit and obtain a permit for the extra cat before adoption. We will require to see your permit.
We will answer any questions you have regarding cat care and help you to obtain any support you may need.
