About Toby
Say hello to Toby, a playful and charming male Border Collie cross. At only 3-months old, Toby may first come off as a shy boy, but once he gets to know you, his outgoing nature shines right through.
He is a social butterfly who gets along well with other dogs. His inherent gentleness extends to his feline counterparts, showing very little interest towards them. Toby is protective over his food, which is a common dog trait which can be managed properly with the right training.
Toby absolutely loves treats - this will be the key to speed up his bonding process with you and help him understand that you are a friend. He eagerly welcomes affection in the form of pats, evident by his ecstatic reaction and wagging tail.
As a pup, Toby is yet to learn the essentials and needs basic training. With every new trick learnt successfully or command followed, giving him a treat not only satisfies his treat-love but also promotes him learning new things.
With your love, patience, and dedicated training, Toby will grow into a well-mannered and obedient companion, making him a wonderful addition to your family. He's ready and excited to meet you and explore what life has to offer!

Adoption details
Our adoption process is easy. You will receive a application for the animals you are interested in. Please full that in and send it back to us.
Even though you may be first to message, this does not always guarantee you will be chosen to adopt. By no means do we run on a "first in, first served basis". We aim to ensure that our animals are adopted into the most suitable home for them and the new family.
With all our animals, we go on what our vet has told us and what we believe the breed and age to be. We never guarantee the breed or age but take the best educated guess.
Please note: Our shelter is located in the Snowy Mountains. We are a 5 hour drive from Sydney and Melbourne and 2 to 3 hours from Canberra.
