About Flora
Introducing Flora, an 18-month-old dachshund whose bouncy, joyous nature is capable of lighting up any room she enters! Her sparkly eyes and wagging tail are the true embodiment of the saying, "Happiness starts with a wet nose and ends with a wagging tail”.
Flora does need more basic training, but with her clever nature and charm, she will quickly catch on. She's brilliant with other dogs her size and has enjoyed some pupper playdates. Please note, Flora is a little bit nervous around cats, so they might not be her ideal furry companions.
There is a little quirk to Flora, she decided chickens just aren't her thing, and so, she would be more suited to a chicken-free environment. Flora is a known escape artist and fence climber so a well secured yard is an absolute must. Flora becomes quite animated when it comes to using her searing intellect to unveil her favorite treats. Give her a belly rub or a pat, and you'll see her eyes light up with sheer happiness.
She may be a tad timid at first, but believe us, once she gets to know you, her outgoing nature will shine bright. All she requires is a little time, a lot of love and some well-earned treat motivation. And in return, this delightful dachshund will unwrap every layer of her beautiful, bouncy personality for you.
Whether she's playing the perfect hostess to your guests or curling up next to you for a lazy weekend snooze, Flora will uplift every moment of your day. If you're looking for an affectionate and playful pup who will abundantly shower you with love, then our Flora is just waiting to follow you home!

Adoption details
Our adoption process is easy. You will receive a application for the animals you are interested in. Please full that in and send it back to us.
Even though you may be first to message, this does not always guarantee you will be chosen to adopt. By no means do we run on a "first in, first served basis". We aim to ensure that our animals are adopted into the most suitable home for them and the new family.
With all our animals, we go on what our vet has told us and what we believe the breed and age to be. We never guarantee the breed or age but take the best educated guess.
Please note: Our shelter is located in the Snowy Mountains. We are a 5 hour drive from Sydney and Melbourne and 2 to 3 hours from Canberra.
